Drizzle City: March 2009
http://drizzlecity.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 14, 2009. The "spring" has shone a new light on the mountain scene. After an almost dreadful winter, comprised of month long snowless. Spells, the snow has started to land on the hill. Two weeks ago the skies opened up to drop 50, yes 5-0, inches of snow in 3 days, countem. Not the spring chicken i used to be). Some photos. . . Looking back from the lift. A look southwestward toward Mt Jefferson. A look down into the. Yet another run i "stumbled" upon named. Last night went just as any pre.

Drizzle City: Shiny Old Home
http://drizzlecity.blogspot.com/2009/10/shiny-old-home.html
Thursday, October 22, 2009. No words (well. . .very few words) just pictures of my new place to satisfy my middle big. For those of you who don't know, i recently purchased a house in NE Portland's Piedmont neighborhood. It's a lovely 4 bedroom 2 bathroom place that i share with my tenants. Heather, Colin and Steve. It's a delightful group of folks but the transition from one roommate to three has been a bit shaky. Not to mention Riley's (the cat) new house mates, Ryker. The front door from the driveway.

Drizzle City: June 2009
http://drizzlecity.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 1, 2009. Back to city living. . .oh and another island. Bosquitto looking all GQ and the like. The A's, Alina, Alannis and Annie. Escaping the chaos on the back patio. And a lovey shot for the ladies. Driving into Casco Viejo. An old church in Casco Viejo. The new city through the foundation of the old city. I scrambled over a tumbling wall to get a picture of the old University Club of Casco Viejo. The old city in the background. A lone trubador with the new city in the background. I snappe...

Drizzle City: August 2009

Sunday, August 16, 2009. In inappropriately named Blue Lake. It was actually green. . .and as all green waters go. . .very cold. Emily trying to pick her way across the creek lumberjack style. We ended up just walking through it instead. A view of Mount St. Helens from a trailside meadow. Wildflowers appeared just as we were entering Sheep Canyon. A view of Helens through the trees as we made our way to the South Fork of the Toutle River. The view looking up the Toutle river. First glimpse of South Sister.

Tuesday, June 24, 2008. Looking Through the Filter of Perfection. Portland turns into paradise just about this time every year. The flowers have all blossomed. And the birds are out chirping. It's almost like a Disney flick, minus the cutesy little fury things (unless you put hippies in that category). I have been trying to take full advantage of the weather by spending as much time away from the television and outside of the house as i can. That may mean i'm. Ass There was no shortage of old man/medicar...

Drizzle City: July 2009
http://drizzlecity.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 21, 2009. Okay so it's been a long time since i've posted anything here. Probably long enough to lose the three or four people who actually visit this blog. Well. . .here i am again. I've been a busy boy. Here's a photo update of what's been happening out west. . .since Memorial Day. California's Lost Coast Memorial Day weekend. My chariot parked beachside. Gotta love the Fat Tire in the water bottle cage. A view from the otherside of the tide pool. Bird's eye view of the shoreline. I've ha...

Saturday, November 29, 2008. Sorry for the terrbily delayed blog from my adventures with Todd. Last week was designated to clean-up and recovery. I'll have pictures posted shortly. Enjoy. . .i know we did. The Eve and Day 1. Mt Jefferson on the way to Bend. A shot from the road. Setting up for the next two photos. How can you go wrong with that? The sign says it all. What are pictures of Reno without a shot of a guy in a wheelchair in front of "The Nugget.". The alternate route to the truck in Reno.

Drizzle City: April 2009
http://drizzlecity.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 21, 2009. With a title like that one would suspect that in fact the ski season isn't over just yet. The thing about the change of seasons here in the rustic Pacific NW is that. . .well. . .just because the snow isn't good enough for skiing doesn't mean that there still isn't any snow on the ground or in my case this weekend. . .on the roads. Mount St. Helens and her blown lid. Coming this summer: pictures from the crater rim. Looking back toward Portland through the Columbia River Gorge.

Sunday, May 18, 2008. I sometimes think it's a "chicken or the egg" thing. Oregon has been known for being one of the "greenest" states in the union. We were "green" before green was even green. The state was discovered on the renewable resource of man power (although i bet lewis. Major renovations to expand our bike parking area. Right. . .chicken or the egg. . . While driving south to Medford. To the side for just a minute) and say that we know we have something special here and we want to keep it that...
