St Cuthbert’s Church 2016. St Cuthbert’s Church Brunswick. Parish of Christ the King. As many of you are aware my friend and I have spoken to each on the phone twice a week since we were ordained 22 years ago. In one of our weekly phones calls David gave me the Anglican greeting ‘The Lord be with you ‘to which I replied, ‘and also with you. During our phone conversation he asked me the question are you having any prayer meetings for Christian unity? Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit....

St Cuthbert’s Church 2016. St Cuthbert’s Church Brunswick. Parish of Christ the King. Women’s World Day of Prayer -. Streams in the Desert. Our creature was the Rev Alison Fenton, Vicar of St Margarets Scotswood. Her sermon brought in the days theme in a lively and thoughtful manner and gave us much to think about. The opening story, featured in featuring a thirsty man lost in the desert, ties sellers, and an oasis with a posh hotel made us all laugh, but you had to be there to appreciate it!
