..... Christian Poet's Pen: November 2012
http://christianpoetspen.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
8226;Blog and Zine for poetry from a Christian perspective. Friday, November 16, 2012. 8216;Round the Corner. I wish I could sit ‘round the corner,. And just listen to all of the clamor. Just listen to laugher and voices,. Listen to what really matters. I would hear dear familiar voices,. Laughs I would know right away. Dinnerware clanging with silverware,. And the smells of Thanksgiving day! I would thank God that I have my family,. Both at home and those miles away. That would be a spectacular day.

8226;Blog and Zine for poetry from a Christian perspective. Wednesday, June 19, 2013. Ladies and gentlemen – may I present. My newest friend – He’s such a gent. He knows you all to some extent. But wants much more, with your consent. When Jesus rose to Heavens’ sky. And seven weeks went passing by. Our Father, with a gleaming eye. Sent down this awesome other guy. With a mighty rushing wind he came. To take the place of grief and shame. To show us how to best proclaim. The mighty roar of Jesus name.

8226;Blog and Zine for poetry from a Christian perspective. Wednesday, September 4, 2013. What was it like, Father? What was it like when you realized? When you knew there was no other way? Did you sit Him down and look into His eyes? Did He flinch at the price He would pay? Did a hesitant note manifest in His tone. When He said “OK Dad – I’ll go”? Was there no hesitation at leaving His throne? Did you know that He wouldn’t say no? What was it like when you bid Him goodbye. Could He see through the pain?

wordling: April 2011
http://wordbrief.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Monday, 25 April 2011. The tomb disclosed,. In brightest day,. The greetings of angels,. The fear of mystery,. The meeting of a man. Who is not a man. Posted by Keith Wallis. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Gives me the opportunity to prove that a poem writes a thousand pictures as opposed to a picture painting a thousand words. Is my 'second string' blog. It will generally feature text only poetry as my primary blog 'wordsculptures' has my photo-associated poetry (you'll find a link below).
wordling: September 2009
http://wordbrief.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, 10 September 2009. To be in your presence,. As You plead before the Father,. We too, in sleepy ignorance of tomorrow. To be at table. Sufficed with meal,. Yet hungry for finer repast -. The bread of life. To You, to each other. In communion care,. The stronger tie, the gentle grip. Of ‘love that will not let me go’. Held in broken hands. Posted by Keith Wallis. wordling: Hand
http://wordbrief.blogspot.com/2010/06/hand.html
Monday, 7 June 2010. I hold fate -. The embrace or slap. The tender touch and painful poke. I guide the pen that writes. The cheque that buys guns. The poem of love. The poison of libel. I grip the hand of a troubled friend. Or push the back of foe. I have what I hold. Or give what I have,. I am the forked tongue. I leave guilty prints. In each life I touch. Posted by Keith Wallis. 28 June 2010 at 09:54. 12 November 2010 at 20:24. I like this :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
wordling: March 2010
http://wordbrief.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 24 March 2010. Thursday Night in an olive grove. Luke 22 v 39-46. After the meal,. A walk in the night air. To clear the head. In a grove of olives,. Unready as half grown fruit,. He searches for His Father’s will. A sense of unfinished business. At war within Him. The captain of a ship. And a sinking feeling. This can’t be right,. They are not ready,. This storm cannot be stilled. This is God stuff. This is the agony of time. Within a frame unconfined by days. This is a pivot of eternity.
JER 29 v 11-14 | ANGLICAN RHYMES
https://anglican57.wordpress.com/jer-29-v-11-14
Christian poetry by an Anglican. JER 29 v 11-14. JER 29 v 11-14. I know the plans I have for you. And they are for your best. If you call upon My Name. Then I will give you rest. I’ll put you back upon your feet. To stand up for My Name. I know the plans I have for you. But only if you claim. If you seek with all your heart. I will be found by you. I will restore all that has gone. And also what is due. Come on, give your heart away. Hold nothing back from Me. I’m the author of your life.
wordling: Grace calls
http://wordbrief.blogspot.com/2011/01/grace-calls.html
Monday, 31 January 2011. Grace calls my name. A name scratched in nail upon His hand;. My life - a page in a holy book. A path in a mist. To a light shrouded in mystery. But sight cannot fathom. Grace calls my name. In a voice I hear but cannot see. Posted by Keith Wallis. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Monday, 6 September 2010. In the congregation of all pain,. Lofted in early eternity,. The darkness gathered -. A hill, a cross, a grave. A dark eternity of pain,. In the assembly of souls,. Alpha and omega meet. To witness for once, for all. 8216;God has lifted Him. To the highest place.’. On a tempest sea. Posted by Keith Wallis. 7 September 2010 at 06:24. HUMDRUM | ANGLICAN RHYMES
https://anglican57.wordpress.com/humdrum
Christian poetry by an Anglican. JER 29 v 11-14. You’re finding life is humdrum. You’re finding church a bore. The thrill you got from serving Him. Is sadly there no more. You’re going through the motions. The words you do not mean. You might as well just disappear. As though you’d never been. Maybe you are holding back. From giving all you’ve got. To He who knows you inside out. Who’s loved you from year dot. You’re sitting on a flaky fence. The splinters cause you pain. Upon His road again.

Our Words
August 12th, 2010. November 14th, 2006. How vast the twilight's blue expanse,. Her ancient and forever dance,. Twined shade and shine and shadow prance. On cue in their celestial trance. Tomorrow, the stars may fall. How steadfast brave Orion's belt,. Upheld by God who order dealt,. That Pluto's ice fields shall not melt. Beneath the spinning spheres, I knelt. Tomorrow, the stars may fall. How red the bloody nails that scrape. The threads of night from heaven's cape,. And usher in a shining shape. Thank ...

..... Christian Poet's Pen
8226;Blog and Zine for poetry from a Christian perspective. Wednesday, November 18, 2015. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air .". Paul was talking as if he expected it might happen in his own day. It may yet happen in our own. A day soon approaches. Let those with ears hear. We know not the day nor the hour nor year. Seated on a white horse, clothed in power and might. When He comes, it will be like a thief in the night.
christianpoetwarrior - Thought-provoking, last-days Christian poetry
Thought-provoking, last-days Christian poetry. I stood before the judge. In court, my head hung low. I was burdened down with debt. That in a hundred lifetimes. I could not ever repay. I had lived large. And up until then. Indulged my every desire. The judge would throw the book at me. And deep down I knew. That I deserved it. Just then, a stranger walked in. And interrupted the proceedings. He said something to the judge. And my handcuffs were removed. I blinked in wonderment. As the judge pronounced.
