If you’re headed to The Cabin in MN, it seems to be synonymous with heading to The Beach or The Shore when you’re on the East coast. The Cabin is almost always on a lake or river. The Cabin usually has horse flies and mosquitoes, and The Beach usually has jellyfish and sharks. They both have the outdoor discomforts to bear, particularly sand. Summer surprise →. Great Places I’ve Found in MN. April 16, 2014 · 4:56 am. Shorts in 30 degree weather. Shorts in 30 degree temperatures would NEVER happen in the South. This happens in MN, however. It is a sign of desperation, a sign of anticipation – or simply acclimation. However, like the happy-go-lucky MN natives, I too have my pipe dreams. I am washing all our winter coats. Anyway, here is what I did with the red bell peppers. they were roasted, peeled and mixed with a little olive oil and set aside. Came home from work…mmmm! Sauce was ready. I cooked some angle hair paste and added some of the sauce. Boy! It was good. A little kick with the chili but ooh so good. I had enough sauce for three days...I did...
