人間の高度で複雑な社会性を実現する高次脳機能を担う神経回路を解明するために、従来の 個体個別の認知機能それぞれに対応する脳神経基盤の解析 という研究概念を一新し、人間に近い複雑な社会行動特性を示すマーモセットを用いて 長期間に亘る経時的な社会的群相互作用の時間発展と未知の複合脳神経回路相互作用の探索的解析 を可能にする新しい研究概念を創出し、その行動特性とそれを担う神経回路を同定して長期に亘る活動動態の変容を評価する方法を確立します。 本研究計画は、岡野栄之チーム 慶応 理研 と佐々木えりかチーム 実中研 理研 慶応 と協力して実行します。 現在、アルツハイマー病 AD に対する予防薬 治療薬の前臨床研究には、おもにマウスモデルが使用されています。 遺伝子改変や薬物投与により特定の神経回路、神経伝達機能を変化させることにより作製した様々な病態モデルマーモセットを解析し、ヒト精神 神経疾患へのトランスレータブルな 中間表現型 としてのイメージングバイオマーカーを抽出します。 Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.

New tools for peering into the brain…. GCaMP6 plasmids at addgene. Are on addgene. Three flavors, fast kinetics or big signals. Bigger responses than OGB-1, some are MUCH bigger. The responses to drifting gratings in visual cortex are spectacular. Sorry no pics for now. Hopefully the reviewers will be nice so we can all read about it soon. Still work to be done getting true 1AP resolution when simultaneously imaging large populations of neurons, but for single neuron imaging. From the SfN abstract :.
