Thursday, 29 May 2014. On Friday, I will be sending home all of the blankets, pillows and stuffies. After lunch, we will now be having 'Quiet Reading' time rather than 'Quiet Time' in preparation for Grade 1. Students are allowed to take 4 books out at a time, find a quiet spot to sit (table or carpet area) and read to themselves. I have sent home the June calendar on Tuesday - please let me know if you have any questions about any upcoming events. Last Scholastic Order deadline is Friday, June 6th.

We will have another (last) in class recitation on Friday, Feb 28th at 2:45pm because there were a couple students who were sick on Tuesday. We will also be reciting our class poem 'Alligator Pie.' Parents and grandparents are welcome to come to the classroom at that time. I will choose only 2 students to perform their poem for the Local Primary Speech Arts on Tuesday, March 11th.
