General Design Practise: summer prep - answer from Raw
http://catsfmp.blogspot.com/2009/05/summer-prep-answer-from-raw.html
Wednesday, 27 May 2009. Summer prep - answer from Raw. Received my answer today from Raw regarding the Summer placement I applied for. I didn't get it :(. The reply I received from them was really nice and they said some really nice and constructive things, but they said they had some people applied who had at least 1 years industry experience apply, therefor it made the decision even harder. So, I shall keep on trying and see if I can find some more people I can pester/or pester again.lol. View my compl...

PPD: November 2008
http://catsppd.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
An insight to what I have been doing and looking at to help improve my personal and professional development. Tuesday, 25 November 2008. To help myself improve as a designer, I am a massive believer in using books as a good source of research and also, as a source of inspiration. Recently, within the past month and a half, I think I have gone a little bit book mad and have used the overdraft to improve my ever growing book collection, and of course, my knowledge :). http://catsfmp.blogspot.com/2009/05/husband-project-some-promo-material.html
Thursday, 28 May 2009. The Husband Project - Some promo material. After making some we amendments to the posters, I began to play with some other visual ideas for promotional tools for the projects. Some Husband Project Tshirts. This was not only useful for the ptoject, but also for my development in general a I haven't played around in photoshop like this in ages, so did me some good to have some much needed practice. General Design Practise: Family Tree - type ideas for book
http://catsfmp.blogspot.com/2009/05/family-tree-type-ideas-for-book.html
Tuesday, 19 May 2009. Family Tree - type ideas for book. Yesterday this book arrived. Due to the nature of this brief, I think that whatever type I use, it has to reflect the feel of the brief as a whole.which is why this book may be just the key, as some of these type faces are over 3/4 centuries old, and I think that as I have looked (tried to look) into heritage and historical Ireland etc, these maybe just what the brief/book needs. Here's some I've been putting together. Rebecca Brock's FMP blog.

General Design Practise: From my Final Crit...
http://catsfmp.blogspot.com/2009/05/from-my-final-crit_20.html
Wednesday, 20 May 2009. From my Final Crit. With my Family Tree. Brief, it was suggested that I drop my book idea and focus on something a little more light - hearted within the next 2 weeks left, and also, something that isn't as time consuming as I still have my lives briefs to attend to. With this in mind, I went back to some of the quotes I looked into based on the 'family' theme, and wondered whether I could still use them, but within a poster format. As mentioned in previous posts. General Research...
