I can absolutely sense your grandmother’s determination and your grandfather’s stubbornness. The story isn’t just sweet, it’s inspiring. I can really appreciate how she set her mind to the task at hand and plowed away at it, changing the circumstances (as with asking for the reduced price) as she went along to suit her needs.
