Ich bin im Jahre 1961 in Ayacucho/Peru geboren. Schon während meiner Kindheit war das Malen mein grösstes Hobby. Ich sass stundenlang an unserem kleinen Esstisch, schaute meiner Mutter bei der Arbeit zu, und malte dabei was mir in den Sinn kam. Mit 22 Jahren ging ein grosser Traum für mich in Erfüllung. Meine Eltern ermöglichten mir ein 5 jähriges Studium an der Kunstgewerbeschule in Ayacucho. Nach dem Grundstudium belegte ich das Spezialgebiet Malerei.
