Something about the cold weather, LSU games (yes they are still fantastic), hot chocolate, and that smell of burning wood outside just makes my heart skip! Thanksgiving was a blast this year. AND she said yes! Carla and Brandon first became ("Facebook") friends back in 2007, but it wasn't until April 2013 that they first struck up a conversation. Brandon attended a friends wedding in the Bahamas where Carla was coincidentally working at the time. He posted a picture from Nippers, a world renowned bar on Great Guana Cay, and so their love story began. About a month later they finally laid eyes on each other and May 8, 2013 will forever be the first day of the rest of their lives.
