Tuesday, 28 July 2015. 48 reporting from London! After spending a week in Berlin and four days in Thuringen, we are now in London, the last step of our holiday, visiting my husband's niece who is going to give birth very soon. We are here for five days and then it is home time. I miss my home. You might have already seen our selfie there :). Now to Monday Makers! This one was stitched together too. Do you have any projects to share with me? A new quilt, a knitting project, scrap booking, cross-stitching,...

Link open for you to share your beautiful finishes and fresh starts. It has been two weeks since we returned from our big trip. Don't get me wrong, I am not counting the days (minutes?

Bee and Lotus - Crafting the Good Life! A blog devoted to creating the Good Life through design, craft and thriftiness. Bee and Lotus Textiles. Sunday, November 23, 2014. Fabric Finds: Linen Tea towel goodness. OK, so I have been trying to curb my "habit" of buying fabric. During a recent clean out of my workroom, I realised exactly how much fabric I have collected over the years. YIKES. I decided to not buy anymore fabric until I had used some of my stash for a quilt…. pshuure! Over-printed with Greetin...

Bee and Lotus - Crafting the Good Life! A blog devoted to creating the Good Life through design, craft and thriftiness. Bee and Lotus Textiles. Saturday, August 16, 2014. Quilt for baby Karina. Sometime late last year I began making a quilt for a gorgeous little lady by the name of Karina. I had planned to have it finished by March and had a label printed up with that month as the finish date. Ooops. Better late than never right? I designed the pattern for this quilt to go with my Midnight Sun collection.

Hug-a-Bit Quilts.: August 2014
http://hugabitquilts.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, 28 August 2014. Finished New Wave quilt top. I finished the New Wave quilt top a few days ago. The weather is always rainy and windy here so I had to take yet another photo indoors; the quilt top hung up on my design wall. I was going to baste it today with this famous Ikea numbers fabric and start quilting it. But it has to wait till tonight because I have a very upset poppet at home with me. Not only is he sick but also he fell and bumped his forehead to the tile floor. Links to this post.

Mouse and Raven: Sew Squeaky!
http://monnsqueak.typepad.com/squeak_like_the_wind/sew-squeaky
Sewing, running, birdies and bicycles. What more would a Squeak need? Ive always loved writing. Not writing, like poetry, or a writer. Ive given it a go at times but Im terrible at it. My poetry is trite and saccharine, or miserable and clunky. My prose is nothing more than bad Mary-Sue-ing that Ive never been able to move past. Then, at about 19, I enrolled into a calligraphy course at Newcastle TAFE with the wonderfully talented and sweet Kaye Frost, whose books are sadly out of print. I did the occasi...
