David's Dad is one of 9 children and all were there with most of the 50 plus grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I have never seen Thanksgiving on such a large scale. Four years ago today I became a mommy, I became a mommy to the most beautiful little girl and I have loved every moment. It kind of sounds weird to say that I have a 4 year old. 3 didn't sound so bad but four means that she is officially a little girl, that she is really growing up. It was Alexis' first real haircut and turned out really cute. Grandma Leslie cut Allie's hair May 1st. Thank you grandma. What's cooking with the Baker's. Monday, November 8, 2010. Saturday night we were able to go to the USC vs. Arizona St. game at the Coliseum. (Thank you Kirk and Steve) It is quite an experience to go to a USC game with Baker's. You know the crazy fans yelling at the coach, ref, players, etc, we have a couple of those. We had a lot of fun. Monday, October 18, 2010. What we've been up to. Thayne and I wanted to go jet skiing before it got too cold, so we called up my little brother, Cort, to see if he wanted to go. Monday, June 17, 2013. Oh the tin can! Packing in like sardines for our 1 1/2 hr drive to our village. Let me refresh your memories. The roads were dirt. There were potholes. Oh, and let's not forget, there were 14 of us plus Pius and the driver making a grand total of 16 people in that van for 3 hours a day! Patty and I teaching school. The urinal is coming along! The men jumped in to give us a break for a moment. They were so adorable! Making more bricks using mortar. Their lunch break during school.

Friday, May 22, 2009. Happy birthday Keely girl! I feel so old! My baby just turned 5 (well not just) and happy but I'm sad. She is no longer a little girl but is now my little lady. We asked her what she wanted to do for her birthday and she wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese. So that's what we did. All our family came. But poor Bela was so terrified of Chuck E. Monday, June 17, 2013. Ha ha so remember how the hubby washed our clothes the night before (such a sweetheart)? Well, he so graciously hung them up to dry outside. Awwwe :) Well, it rained. So, we hung them up to dry inside. Stomach is starting to feel unsettled by now. Trying to sip down a juice. Walking back to what they literally called the "Poop station.". Huge dung beetle mound. Right near the "Poop station.". There's a picture of my little shadow! Do you see their faces? Oh, that frog is poisonous?

Saturday, June 22, 2013. Ghana Days 9 and 10. Saturday was our group's last day with our village. They basically wished us farewell the same way they welcomed us in: singing and dancing. Purchasing material to make a baby carrier wrap thingy. I know I've said this already but they seriously adored Ron. We all did. He was so much fun. They were huge supporters of Obama. The young ladies did a special little dance number for us. We officially became members of their village. Thayne and Krystal Family.

Wednesday, June 17, 2009. About a month ago Cody has a baseball tournament in Kona. It was really fun. The team was Joe Aloha Boys. They won all there games but they only played a couple games. During our stay we hung out at the pools alot and beach! I think that will be our only vacation this year sad to say! Anyways it was a nice bonding experience for everyone! Keely and her friend Mahina. Boys will always be boys. Messing with the pretty fish! Krysta passed out after that long 45 minute plane ride.

Thursday, August 28, 2008. I've been pregnant for 39 weeks and he finally decided to bless our family on August 8, 2008! How's that for timing! He was born at 9:20pm, weighed 7lbs. 15oz. and was 21 inches long. And boy do I stress. His fingers are longer than any of my other children and let me just tell you his toes are like a second set of fingers! Enjoy the pictures, and there will be more posts to follow!
