Building a House

We're building a house! I'm trying to keep a (close to) daily blog of how the house is developing. Click on the date to see pictures from that day. Selecting a Web Host. There is nothing easy about selecting a web hosting service. Many of us who have had personal or commercial websites of our own for a long time have had multiple hosts- and the reason we keep changing is because we become dissatisfied without the service we're receiving. I recently had such bad hosting service that my site was inaccessible. Although I had paid for a few more months on that hosting service (avoid FeaturePrice), I started looking for a new hosting service.

Our Cabin

Our cabin was definitely smaller than an ordinary hotel room, but it was larger than I expected. Click any picture for a full-sized image. The funny square on the wall hides a light fixture. If it has another purpose, we never figured it out. The table, though, hides the life jackets. Not surprisingly, Stan and I mentally redesigned the area to better utilize the space. There's no such thing as enough closet or shelf space, but there was a lot more shelf space than I thought there would be.
