Life in the Smallest State. Friday, August 29, 2014. Hehe, John on the drive down. Good thing he never looks at the blog. This is the Biltmore Estate. It is the largest house in America and is still owned by the Vanderbilt family. Biltmore is in Asheville, NC. It was my first time in North Carolina. It's so pretty! The back side. It is 179,000 sq ft. It has 35 bedrooms and 43 bathrooms. 250 rooms total. One of the many gardens. Ellie is a lot bigger now. She can sit up really well. Jake and Pace man!

Life in the Smallest State. Tuesday, September 16, 2014. Along the trail to the falls several other waterfalls can be seen. We saw 4 other waterfalls. The book said there were about a dozen, but some were off the beaten path. Since our hike was already longer than we had planned we just stuck to the trail. The waterfall was beautiful and was definitely worth the walk. I'm sure it's much more impressive in the spring. Monday, September 15, 2014. Monday, September 8, 2014. Ellie's first ocean swim! John is...

Life in the Smallest State: December 2014
http://eastcoastchesleys.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Life in the Smallest State. Monday, December 22, 2014. Onota Lake and Natural Bridge- Only 3 months late! We've taken Walter to the beach and we knew that he liked water, but he had never actually gone swimming. John's main goal for this camp out was to find a place that would let Walter swim. The East Coast can be pretty discriminatory towards dogs sometimes, especially in swimming places. It's lame. You'd think they could designate at least one beach as a dog beach! The Marble Dam for the Quarry.
