It's Fester's rocket ship, and it lights up. I've also made a TNT detonator box, and still to come, I'll be making a conquistador's helmet, 2 bullfighters capes, and a crossbow. Paola, Down Under. Tuesday, October 7, 2014. You can walk from Coogee Beach around the coastline to Bondi. Nadia took us from Clovelly Beach along the way to Bondi. We saw amaziing headlands and shiny beaches. The swell and the wind were right as well, so we saw heaps of city surfers in the waves. You'll notice Scott is faithfully applying sunscreen! Paola, Down Under. Wednesday, September 17, 2014. The weather in Melbourne is tempermental at the best of times, but it seems to be even more unpredictable in Spring. For example, last week, a massive storm rolled over Melbourne on Tuesday night, after a few days of sun and temperatures over 18 degrees. It was quite exciting. there was thunder, lightning and an unexpected dump of several inches of hail. Our front yard mid storm. The view of the road from our upstairs window. Hail and Rain!

Paola, Down Under. Thursday, May 7, 2015. And now for some back blogging. Last month in April, during the school holidays, we spent some lovely days down in Lorne visiting with friends. We also found some time to do some beachcombing and rock pool exploring. The weather was ridiculously good! We had time to drive up to Erskine Falls to see a rather note worthy trickle this year. We went into Fitzroy to have lunch at Belle's Diner, which serves real Southern Fried Chicken. the regular Southern Fried recipe is yum, but You can get your chicken fried spicy too: Medium, Hot, Really Hot and Really F* *ing Hot.
