Just another WordPress.com site. Book Review: The Food of Morocco by Paula Wolfert. Absolutely fabulous. This is a definitive collection of Moroccan food and I have to say that there is going to be a space made on my shelf for a copy soon. The Food of Morocco. Isn’t just a cookbook, it is a beautiful collection of recipes and photographs and you can’t help but want to make every single recipe that you come across. Glad I read it, I enjoyed it, I would read it again, I would own it. February 6, 2012.

The Tortoise and the Hare. Was written by Elizabeth Jenkins in the 1950s and it retains that stiff formality that we think of when we imagine what the 50s were like, especially in England. If you want to get a slice of literature written in the 1950s and by a woman, I think that this is a book that will interest you.

Now here is a depressing view of the future. Fans of apocalyptic fiction take note, this one is a rough ride. Margaret Atwood creates a world that you would never want to live in if you could prevent it. Sadly, she also created something that I could conceive of happening in the near future. Glad I read it, I enjoyed it, I would read it again.
