Finds its name from the Greek word martureo. Which means to be a witness, to bear witness, i.e. to affirm that one has seen or heard or experienced something. The foundation of this creative publication is 1 John 4:14. We have seen and testify [martureo] that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world." I have the privilege of being the editor for this publication and have made the issues available online. The Witness is a monthly publication of the student ministry of Bethel Church.

Prayer Request Journal: Praise God for My Mom!
http://prayerrequestjournal.blogspot.com/2010/10/praise-god-for-my-mom.html
Monday, October 25, 2010. Praise God for My Mom! Friday was my mom's 90th birthday. She's not in great health, but it didn't stop her from enjoying lunch and birthday cake. Several other family members were there, too, and she loved spending time with all of us. Here's a picture of us taken at her birthday party. I'm the one in the orange sweater. I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be.
