postcardsfrompaulie: Trees I have "known" at Mt. Rainier. . .
http://postcardsfrompaulie.blogspot.com/2008/08/trees-i-have-known-at-mt-rainier.html
Tuesday, August 26, 2008. Trees I have "known" at Mt. Rainier. . . This will be my last entry on this blog as I have just about run out of photo space. Please join me over at PERBS. The new growth contrasts beautifully with the tree. The rock slides look like an angel on the left and Jesus on the right. The branches growing from the side of this trunk were contrasts from dead to fall colors to olive green. Can you see the SMILEY face in this tree trunk? Blue skies and snow! I liked this bent tree trunk!

Monday, December 31, 2007. A Foggy New Year's Eve 2007. This was how thick the fog was this morning,. I went out to run a few errands and the sun was trying to say hello. . . A couple hours later the sun was trying to peek out from behind the clouds. Not all trees are bare when they lose their leaves. . . Ok went and got close ups. . . I think a few of you guessed correctly about the kind of tree. This one had fallen on the ground. Well, lots had but I took a photo of that one. Sunday, December 30, 2007.

Stuck on Survive: September 2007
http://stuck-on-survive.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Musings of a working wife and mother. Sunday, September 30, 2007. My Last book update. Was about 2 weeks ago and I've read quite a few books in that time. My mother left a bag full of books on her last visit. My favorite of these is Once Upon A Day. Another very interesting title was The Stolen Child. Is a "real-life" story of a changeling who grew up as the child he replaced, and also the story of the human child and his life with the fairies. Once you accept the basic premise the remainder of the b...

Tuesday, August 26, 2008. Stairs Down to Waterfall. This is one of my favorite photos from our camping trip at Mt. Rainier. The two previous posts are also from Mt. Rainier if you haven't seen them yet. I have two more themes from Rainier to post: waterfalls and trees. This photo is an invitation to go farther and try to see what's next! A real pretty shot. I can see why it's one of your favorites! I just googled to see what the altitude of the mountain is. Unbelievable! I like these steps as well. Susan...

Friday, February 29, 2008. Sky Watch Friday #18. If you want to join Sky Watch Friday blogging, go here for the blogroll. The skies offered a variety of things this past week:. This is a seagull flying above the parking lot at Walmart. I heard and spotted the plane before I saw the sun rays coming from the cloud. I wasn't fast enough to catch the sunrays directly on the plane. See the plane at the left side of the sun rays? Enlarge by clicking if you can't. Wednesday, February 27, 2008. Only the mini Daf...
