Oh Honestly!: April 2015
http://ohhonestly.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Every Sunday, we all get dressed independently of each other. And, every Sunday, as we all emerge from our bedrooms and closets, we all seem to coordinate naturally. This past Sunday was no exception. The color scheme: red, white, blue, khaki. Our dad was the odd man out, but the rest of us were in our coordinating glory. And of course, had to document it with a dozen failed selfies. Saturday, April 18, 2015. The craziest week that wasn't. By the time Friday night rolled around, ...

Oh Honestly!: November 2014
http://ohhonestly.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 25, 2014. How do you trace the records of people who were never accounted for? Where would you even start? And as I calmed myself down I said, "The government would never do such a thing because it would be impossible and because slaves were black! It's so sad to me that all of this still exists in the world. That we don't see people for people and crime for crime. That it feels like we're going backwards as a nation. Baton Rouge re-segregates schools, injustice because of r...My boys a...

Castle Mom and Dad: Roomies
http://castlemom.blogspot.com/2013/07/roomies.html
Tuesday, July 2, 2013. This has been a fun, and eventful 6 months. Stella had such an eventful pre-birth and birth, it has been a blessing too have her close. All our kids and grand kids are a blessing and I love having them in our lives as much as possible. I've just tried not think about them moving away, and being able to watch the changes, but this will be a blessing for them, and a great experience for their family. Oh Honestly!: May 2015
http://ohhonestly.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 29, 2015. The Redwoods, Day Four: Avenue of the Giants. Once we finished walking and seeing and stretching, it was time to get some lunch and get back to San Jose with as few stops as possible. We did our best. The boys were definitely running out of steam, but we'd had a great vacation and were ready to head home. The flight was uneventful. Which is always a good thing. Except for maybe a glimpse of a real bigfoot. But, that maybe would have been a bit too much. Thursday, May 28, 2015. We su...

Castle Mom and Dad: December 2011
http://castlemom.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 4, 2011. I maybe had overdone it just a bit the day before, but I still felt like I was healing and moving around better. Then Friday hit. The grand kids were there, Jodi and Trevor were still there but except for a little tired I was OK. After all the blood work and IV's. Then a Lumbar Puncture, I was told I had Meningitis and needed an MRI to look at my back surgical site, which had never looked bad nor had increase in pain. Then after that I was told I needed surgery! I would be lieing.

Monday, September 19, 2005. I know what your thinking.not another bio of another blogger. Well, unfortunately, you're right. After much consideration, I felt it was important to give a brief history. It will be brief - promise. This blog was started in September of 2005 on a whim at work. A co-worker had just discovered a wonderful FREE tool and the two of us spent the entire day at work setting up our blogs. It's been full steam ahead ever since. Oh Honestly! Online, of course. Oh Honestly!: The end of Summer Number One
http://ohhonestly.blogspot.com/2015/07/the-end-of-summer-number-one.html
Monday, July 27, 2015. The end of Summer Number One. Elliott went back to school today. Wyatt met his teachers today and starts officially as a first grader tomorrow. Summer is over and we are back to school. The last week of summer wasn't quite as busy as the previous two, but I tired. And Ross was away at scout camp. I also completely ran out of mental and physical and emotional energy. For all my lamenting about year round school, this morning came just at the right time. The last week of Summer #1.
