The Rumbles (Or Les Adventures Francais). Check out www.babyrumble.blogspot.com for family updates, this one is all about our make-believe pro-cycling career! Monday, May 11, 2015. Here is the route today. Porto to Calvi. It is impossible to remember where exactly each of these little bays and coves were in order on the ride, so I'll just include the photos of them here in one go. More than once, I thought a nice swim would be better than continuing to ride. After some absolutely horrible pavement, the l...

the oliver chronicles: July 2008
http://babyarkin.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 5, 2008. Oliver has been spending his last three Saturdays at the El Cerrito pool, enjoying the "parent and tot" class with his parents. It's great fun splashing around with mom and dad in something larger than the bath tub. But relaxing poolside does not always equate to letting one's hair down: the sunscreen on Oliver's head is the ultimate product, and the resulting mohawk is the envy of the diaper set. Pre-class and slicked up. He thinks he looks pretty funny, too. And on he grows.

Wednesday, January 7, 2009. We took a break from work and spent a long weekend in Guernville. Oliver liked looking up at the giant redwood trees in nearby Armstrong Woods. He also enjoyed tromping around Fort Ross, a Russian settlement on the coast from the early 1800s. Oliver explores Armstrong Woods. Rebecca, Jeff, and Oliver. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Sunday, November 16, 2008. First stop was the carousel at Tilden park with Natasha and Ryan. On Halloween itself, we were all sick, so we didn't manage to leave the house. Still.we stuffed the poor kid in his dragon costume for posterity. Rebecca, Jeff, and Oliver. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Welcomed with love in September 2007. 7 lbs, 4 oz., 20 inches long. The Rumbles (Or Les Adventures Francais). Check out www.babyrumble.blogspot.com for family updates, this one is all about our make-believe pro-cycling career! Saturday, May 9, 2015. I'm not sure what this statue is about, but it is right along the walk into town, so thought I would include it. I thought it was a mermaid at first, but not so much upon closer inspection. Also along the walk was a great group of old men playing Petanque. There was a little car show of old French cars, mostly classic Citroen.

The Rumbles (Or Les Adventures Francais). Check out www.babyrumble.blogspot.com for family updates, this one is all about our make-believe pro-cycling career! Sunday, August 8, 2010. Sadly, The Vacation is Over. For the last post, I'm dumping some of my favorites from the trip. There are really too many to put in any kind of order or give much of a narrative, so this one is more for viewing pleasure than story telling. Each of us look forward to seeing friends and family soon! Charging up the Columbiere).

the oliver chronicles: October 2010
http://babyarkin.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 20, 2010. We recently met up with good friends Peter, Anne, and Sydney to pick the last of the season's apple crop in Graton. Oliver decided to dress like a 1930s newsboy for the occasion. Much fun was had by all, and Jeff's been turning out terrific apple crisps ever since. Yum! Rebecca, Jeff, and Oliver.
