Kaden is smiling, laughing, cooing and keeping his parents busy. Our night out for our 4th anniversary! Kaden goes hiking with us all the time. We started out with only an hour window, but now we get a little more. Whose baby is that! Whose baby is this! Yep, that's our baby alright! His shirt says "I may be little but I'm tough!

Wednesday, April 8, 2009. Well, it took us a few days to get infront of the computer for long enough to update the blog (our newest family member has been keeping us busy), but here are some pics. Enjoy! 2 weeks to go! The docs say everything is going great. Finally, the little guy arrived. 1 week late, and a little bigger than expected. We went in for the induction on Friday morning. Kaden Michael Forsha was born at 2:42 on Saturday, April 4. 8 pounds 5 oz. 21 in long. Thats a big baby! Thats a big head!

He came in at 9 lb 15 oz at a 3 week appointment. Mom and dad are starting to feel a little (very little) bit more sane. I just ate and I'm one happy dude". I'm still figuring this new world out". Maybe this place isn't so bad after all". He does like his swing. But he is still getting used to his bouncer. The shirt says "Little Tough Guy").

This was in Estes Park at Matt and Amanda's wedding during the first day of week 34. March 5, 2009 at 6:32 AM. Yea Jenny and Greg! I can't wait to meet the little guy! March 5, 2009 at 12:15 PM. Kaden is working on his 11th day and he is doing everything that a newborn is supposed to be doing: Sleeping, eating, crying, and not letting his parents sleep very much. Mom and dad are doing good, though, thanks to the wonderful and very generous grandparent help and some fantastic dinners (MMMmmmmm! What a cute little guy! I don't want to go to sleep! Instead of celebrating the fact that I have done the hard work to maintain a supply of breastmilk for him so that I am still breastfeeding him at 8 months over 95% of the time! Sleep I miss it. A. Lot. But then there are the nights that I lay awake, hoping he starts moving so I can steal another 10 minutes with him. It's no lie to say being a parent is the hardest job in the world.but it is also the most rewarding! Be Kind. To everyone and everything.

Sunday, October 14, 2012. I was 36 weeks in the below picture with 3 weeks until induction! Took I am 38 weeks, and I thought I was counting down then! Nothing compares to now! Baby C appears to not be so ready just yet! At my last appointment I was 1cm dilated, 50% effaced, posterior. I have googled this and it appears to be good. Monday, March 25, 2013. Carsten is growing like a weed! Way too fast, but we are loving each moment and taking all of the changes in! Each day he is learning something new and it is so amazing to watch! His third month we were able to celebrate his first Christmas! However, he slept through Cole and Davis opening their gifts so we showed him what he got a little later. Of course just watching his cousins was more fascinating than any toys he got! And we of course spent some time cheering for the Broncos!
