An Aussie in Auckland: March 2010
http://aussiesinauckland.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
An Aussie in Auckland. Aussie Mum and family swap the delights of Bris Vegas for the City of Sails. Wednesday, March 17, 2010. Fire and ice . You can take the Brissie girl out of New Zealand, but you can't take NZ out of the girl. Or something like that. What I mean is that although I'm no longer an Aussie in Auckland, there's a little Kiwi - or perhaps a Kakapo - that resides inside my heart. So when @LanghamAuckland shared some exciting news via twitter, I just couldn't resist posting about it. Brisban...
An Aussie in Auckland: E noho rā'
http://aussiesinauckland.blogspot.com/2009/12/e-noho-ra.html
An Aussie in Auckland. Aussie Mum and family swap the delights of Bris Vegas for the City of Sails. Wednesday, December 30, 2009. All good things come to an end, and so too, has our stay in New Zealand. Husband has accepted an offer too good to refuse, so we will be relocating across the ditch to Australia, back where it all started. It's with mixed feelings that we say e noho rā' to Aeotearoa, and for now, I will still be blogging about our adventures there whenever I get time or inspiration. Good luck ...

An Aussie in Auckland. Aussie Mum and family swap the delights of Bris Vegas for the City of Sails. Wednesday, May 27, 2009. A conference with the kuds. Well kids actually. It's just with a New Zealand accent, kids comes out like "kuds"! The teachers are there, but it's the children themselves who do the talking. It was really sweet, and must have taken a lot of time and effort for the teachers to organise. Both H. and C. love school, and they were so proud showing off their portfolios! The kids were thr...

An Aussie in Auckland: November 2009

An Aussie in Auckland. Aussie Mum and family swap the delights of Bris Vegas for the City of Sails. Sunday, November 29, 2009. Shopping - Samoan style! Let's face it: You don't go to Samoa to shop. Or to use the Internet. Or check emails. Which is just as well, because apart from a zillion different lava lavas, there isn't a lot to buy. And the internet doesn't appear to work for most of the time. Which is actually great, because with the time and money you save, you can enjoy a few cocktails. I was amaz...

Dizzy Parenting: September 2008
http://dizzyparenting.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 22, 2008. The Undomestic Goddess Strikes Again. Since we've relocated to New Zealand, I've been playing housewife for a change. That means as well as packing, unpacking, and schlepping kids across the city, I've taken on more of the cooking duties. Normally, Kyle cooks the evening meal, and as my waistline proves, he's a dab hand at it too. But while I'm waiting for the net and phone to be connected (and therefore to start work), I thought I'd take over the cooking detail for a while.
