Intricate Life: Superheroes
http://lifeisintricate.blogspot.com/2008/02/superheroes.html
Monday, February 18. Pete: Are you rooting for Batman or Superman? Me: I like Batman. Pete: I like Superman, why do you like Batman? Me: I've always liked Batman. He's always been my favorite superhero because he doesn't have any special super powers. He just uses his brain and works really hard to get really tough so that he can beat the bad guys. I like him because he works so hard. Pete: Well, I like Superman because he can punch through buildings! We miss your cute kid updates! I Keep It Real.

Intricate Life: Playmobil Hospital
http://lifeisintricate.blogspot.com/2008/01/playmobil-hospital.html
Wednesday, January 2. So Pete got a playmobil hospital set for Christmas. He loves it, but I decided to merge it with some of the other playmobil animals that he has and make it into an animal hospital. See treatment options below:. Always sad to see a good horse put down. We should make an entire stop motion film about this hospital. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I Keep It Real. Out, out, damned spot. Planning, Architecture, Design. I am fuel, you are friends. http://thelarsonlingo.blogspot.com/2013/09/first-day-of-school-back-to-school.html
First Day of School Back to School Feast 2013. Last week we all went back to school. I am not going to lie, the past week has kicked my butt. New schedule at school, new Common Core curriculum, a modified block schedule and different pick up times for the girls. Lots of planning, lots of driving around. Phew! But, I am taking each day one day at a time! Kate really wanted these cat shoes. I gave in. They gave her blisters. Lovely. She was so excited about getting a real backpack. This year, our theme is:.

Intricate Life: July 2007
http://lifeisintricate.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 27. Fine line between an expert and a know-it-all. Kids have "things." You know, that phrase, or interest (obsession), or joke, or facial expression that they do all the time. Like it's in the front of their mind all the time. Right now, Pete's "thing" is that he's an expert. As in, "the mountains are really far away, but I can see them because I'm an expert! Intricate Life: March 2007
http://lifeisintricate.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 21. An excerpt from a hilarious New Yorker piece about what kids imagine a grownup conversation to be like:. MOM: I had a lot of wine, and now I’m crazy! GRANDFATHER: Hey, do you guys know what God looks like? GRANDFATHER: Don’t tell the kids. Also, how college students imagine a conversation between the president and an advisor:. 8212;Apparently, young people hate the war so much they’re willing to participate in a musical sex festival as a protest against it. Intricate Life: Disney
http://lifeisintricate.blogspot.com/2008/01/disney.html
Wednesday, January 30. That's a picture that Pete took of me. I love it. Notice that more pictures have been posted in our album on the right. We had a blast at Disneyworld. So fun to be swept up into such a hyper-designed world for a few days. A little like an innocent Vegas. I love the picture of Pete in the dark (Pirates? The look on his face is priceless.
