School's not out (yet). Monday, 9 January 2017. Week 1: Not like riding a bicycle. Last week was the first time since 1972 that I did not have to go to school. I finally left school. Possibly to return in the near future. Maybe. But I think that school left me first so I guess we are even. I would like to blog about my unrequited love for school but it would sound contrived with resonances from The Sorrows of Young Werther. The Sorrows of a Middle-Aged Educator. Or Kafka on the Shore. School's not out (yet). Thursday, 8 December 2011. The adults had some particularly funny moments; like when i said "of course i mean dog" instead of "of course i mean god" at rehearsals. Learning my lines was not as easy as i thought it was going to be. And trying to take my lovely student to his death was a bit awkward.
