And then my eyes fell out. What I have enjoyed reading. Thursday, October 27, 2011. I've reached the limit at the LibraryThing site and being a frugal soul I'll start recording my reading here again. THE DROWNING RIVER.Christobel Kent borrowed from library. Decent enough start to a new detective series set in Florence. I have reserved the next in the series. THE TYPIST.Michael Knight borrowed from the library. Short, well written, a good solid tale. Character driven. Good reading. View my complete profile.

And then my eyes fell out. What I have enjoyed reading. Tuesday, August 3, 2010. For now a link to a quicker method of recording my reading. CURRENT WHAT I 'VE BEEN READING. I knew it would become a chore at some point so until I have the desire to post here again I've put up the link where you will find what I've read. No slowing down on the reading, just the recording. probably, but not likely: Saturday outing

http://probablybutnot.blogspot.com/2012/08/sunday-outing.html

Probably, but not likely. Monday, August 20, 2012. Once again the call of older British cars, this time in Niagara-on-the-lake. I went for the chance of a lunch out, which I got, and an opportunity to wander the town. We ate lunch in the theatre cafe and walked the few blocks into the centre of town. We stepped into a few of the stores but found like I did on holiday that the chance of actually finding something new or unique is gone. Starbucks fitting nicely into the streetscape in a period building.

probably, but not likely: A tale

http://probablybutnot.blogspot.com/2012/10/a-tale.html

Probably, but not likely. Tuesday, October 16, 2012. I was out today with my camera in search of red maples. A remark about their absence in some of my other photos set me on my mission. While wandering my neighbourhood I stopped at a house to take a photo and noticed two older woman talking at the side door. I politely asked the homeowner if she minded me taking a picture of her tree. No problem she said. Helen remembers shopping for it and how thrilled both sides were when it was presented. When I told...

Probably, but not likely. Monday, October 15, 2012. October 8, 2012. Historic house to tour for me, cars for Paul. Cool but pleasant day for wandering rows of cars in a park setting. Decent hot dogs and grilled sausages for lunch. No coffee to be had though. I should consider taking a thermos. I like my noon time coffee! Back addition to the original house. I took a good look around when I got bored with the cars. Always something to catch your eye when walking the paths. Path to the Grand River. And enj...

Probably, but not likely. Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Finishing October and starting November. Out to taste wines from Northern Italy and nibble some complimenting foods. It was a nice chance to drink wines we would normally never buy because of price and to sample food made by the chef at a restaurant we have been meaning to try. Prosciutto wrapped figs with gorgonzola to go with our Tedeschi Amarone 2007 that sells here for $39.93 a bottle. My first project with the knitting needles. Using the crescent ...

And then make soup. About making and sharing good food, anywhere anytime. April 26, 2015. How does your garden grow? How about a quick walk around my yard with me this morning? And Then My Head Exploded. Tuesday, May 5, 2015. The last post I made on this blog was in mid-March. I blinked and then all of a sudden April is over and we're now in May. The Lycian Way 2015

The Lycian Way 2015. Thursday, 25 June 2015. So, we caught the 7:30am bus to Citdibi; a village so obscure that the bus driver (and passengers) felt obliged to check three times that we REALLY wanted to get off there. We ate our breakfast in Citdibi, and at 10am started up the hill for the final section of the Lycian Way. Meadow near the final pass on the Lycian Way. Today's tortoise count : 2.
