I'm building up my stamina for my 3 day walk. When I have a specific route for my exercise planned, I do fine. If it's a short 2 mile walk or a longer 10 mile, no problem. It doesn't have to be a recipe for each meal. Sometimes all it takes is combining foods you like. I have learned to take food with me when I go to work. This means breakfast, lunch and snacks. Does this seem like a lot to you? Think of it this way, do you eat breakfast before you leave for work? Thank you for the lesson.

Eat smart, move often, enjoy life. Monday, May 14, 2012. I went for a hike the other day. I’ve gone on this path before, so I am familiar with the terrain. This is a view from the trail head/parking lot. Beautiful day, I pass some hikers and others pass me. All ages and sizes, some with dogs. Talked to a man who is using walking poles. He told me how much he liked using them, also told me is 80 years old! Some areas are very rocky. I’ve reached the tower. I keep looking ahead, this path will never end!
