Sunday, 31 January 2010. Aft hold holes, and gas fire from eBay . Myrtle's missus has managed to get a nice 'living coals' gas fire from eBay. We have cleared out the items we have no need of from the aft hold and found three holes in its floor above water level. I knew there was one, but some of the plates are very dicey. Saturday, 10 April 2010. A safety net . M's Missus has added some bright orange plastic safety netting to the side of the deck to stop small children, animals and garden chairs from getting blown over-board. The colour goes rather well! I think I may get some more for the other side . though it does at least have some ropes . I was thinking of getting annual climbers to grow along it . Posted by Myrtle's missus. Monday, 26 April 2010. She's due on Wednesday! M'sM and M'sD have done it . 1013S now belongs to M'sD! At present she is called Redwood, but I'm not sure that she will keep that name. Here is a picture of her out of water with her gantries still attached (they have been removed now). There were pieces of metal where she is to lie left from work on Myrtle, so they were dug out of the very glutinous mud by a very strong man. Saturday, 10 April 2010. We have changed our minds . And are wondering if it would be better to pay more and get this one :-. Since it has a 'lid' on it, which means it is dry and already has a 'roof'. Inside it looks really good . And the same again with flash . And the underside of the main hatch . And her bow . Most of this is too small to do anything significant with but too large for me to be able to part with and throw away. Every time we want to do any work we have to keep moving the wood pile and so it was time to do something with it. And then fitting them all together. On to table top mk2. Saturday, 7 July 2012.
