Trodden Path: October 2005
http://mytroddenpath.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 07, 2005. I refuse to give up. I refuse to give in. I refuse to indulge in sin. I refuse to laugh. I refuse to cry. I refuse to live a life so dry. I refuse to be happy. I refuse to be sad. I refuse to listen to my emotions ah so mad. I refuse to be good. I refuse to be evil. I refuse to accept god or the devil. I refuse to share your plight. I refuse to hear your sigh. I refuse to take not which is mine. I refuse to live at war. I refuse to die at peace. I refuse to exist in eternal bliss.

Tuesday, January 29, 2008. Just came back from my much awaited India trip, had a whale of a time. Just read in Shekhar Kapur’s blog; “ Abuse is the order of day in India”! He is the man when it comes to composed literature so as to speak of! Yes, India is shining in some few cities and in the living rooms of the educated! How about the underprivileged though? Do they not have the right to a safe, healthy, happy life? With a clear heart and tired mind; I admit I missed blogging! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Chronicles.....: March 2009

Sunday, March 29, 2009. Maa ka ladla, bigad gaya. I finally checked out Varun Gandhi's outrageous speech on youtube, i just love youtube for that matter. Youtube has everything, right from how to make rasmalai's to VG's hatred filled speech. Gosh, his mommy dearest is a PETA activist and son all set to cut human arms if necessary! You know what being a HIndu is to me; being tolerant! What was he thinking when he said he has no remorse for what he said? Wednesday, March 18, 2009. Monday, March 02, 2009.

http://vaidehid.blogspot.com/2009/05/dance-of-democracy-2009.html
Wednesday, May 27, 2009. Dance of democracy 2009. Times of India came up with an apt caption for election 2009 in India, Dance of democracy and what a competetion at that! Can give all the Jhalak's and other dance shows a run for their money. Results came out unpredictable. Analysts have dropped their jaws for that matter! I am personally glad it's Congress again and with majority. Does that mean we are too good for them and don't love them enough? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Back to food blog.

Thursday, May 28, 2009. April showers bring May flowers! They say April showers bring May flowers! How true it is indeed! At times I think how impossible it is to live life without such basic philosophy. We all pass through these ups and downs and when everything looks dark, we need someone to tell us there is gonna be a bright light at the end of this tunnel. Someone who keeps saying, "when winter is here, how far is spring? Ha ha, only if wishes were horses! Wednesday, May 27, 2009. Can give all the Jh...

Hazaaron Khwaishein........: Over and Out !
http://gauravfarkade.blogspot.com/2007/03/over-and-out.html
Wednesday, March 28, 2007. Over-enthusiastic fans, over-charged by the discussions of over-talkative ex-cricketers being aired on over-hyped TV channels, fueled by over-optimistic media managers, who bought over-priced Ad slots and then .a set of over-rated players performing to their potential . That's how the World Cup 2007 got over for India! PS - Yours truly was rooting for Dinesh Kartik from day 1, but the chap was never pikced up :(. Can't beat this excitement. 7:48 AM, April 02, 2007.

Hazaaron Khwaishein........: April 2007

Saturday, April 21, 2007. India Shining , India Poised? While there's celebration (some well-deserved) over India one the move, you come across a shocking incident of a teacher spraying goumutra on Dalit students to purify them (and also of the effects of an earlier Dalit headmistress)! Some might dismiss it as a one-off incident in Maharashtra - one of the progressive states, but it's an indication of how deeply rooted the misconceptions still are. At least, lets not deny that these issues still exist.

Trodden Path: Delhi Blasts
http://mytroddenpath.blogspot.com/2005/11/delhi-blasts.html
Tuesday, November 08, 2005. After the Delhi Blasts, which killed so many people, all I am hearing in this city is that the people should rise up and fight off those Muslim jehadis. Now since nobody kows where the jehadis are, they atleast want to kill some innocent Muslims, to atleast vent a release to theie pent up? What nobody ever thought is that probably the VHP itself may be behind the blasts! Why would a nationalist n fundamentalist party do that? My take on the blasts - Who cares? Call this number...

Sunday, May 27, 2007. The recent speech by the PM seems like yet another case of diversion tactics. Coming from the man who's credited with the economic reforms (though it was the forex-crisis which forced to take tough decision, still no one can question his wisdom and service to the economy),it shows the frustration and political compulsions. Are CEOs drawing fat pay-cheques, people spending on lavish weddings responsible for the inhuman conditions in which millions of our countrymen live? Charity they...
