Saturday, June 11, 2011. I have been a busy little bee over the last several weeks! This summer I decided our lamo guest bedroom needed a major re-do! Our old guest bedroom was filled with leftovers. miss-matched furniture, ugly bedspread from Jason's college days, random picture frames, and even a "Nothin' Runs Like A Deere" sign that Jason LOVES (incase you didn't know he has a little thing for John Deere. it's a sensitive subject at our house! Friday, April 6, 2012. Okay, now on to BELIZE! We had to be tendered in, which was an experience all on it's own- but still fun! This was one of our most favorite excursions- "Raiders of the Lost Mayan Caves". We became quite the explorers! This excursion took us on a 2 hour bus ride into the jungle, where we were harnessed up, hiked into the forest, explored caves, learned about mayan history, zip-lined, and ate some good authentic food! Monday, March 26, 2012. Our first port was to the island of Roatan- we made plans to go snorkeling and kayaking to take advantage of the awesome reef right off the island. BUT to our disappointment, our excursion was cancelled! They said the water was too rough and had cancelled all the water excursions. So we decided to just get off the boat and be spontaneous! So we rented a scooter! I got to enjoy the beautiful scenery, while Jason concentrated on the pot-hole filled roads! And look what we found:.
