I can explain why this is the case, but I can't pin down the right language to look this up in a style manual (specifically CMS. Edit] According to the Oxford Dictionary of English Grammar. Another reference list question! Mdash;this being the subject that drives us all crazy. Let's say I've got a reference to something in the front matter of a scientific journal. Specifically, it's the "Guide for Authors" that appears in Biological Psychiatry,. Volume 66, number 1, pp. A5–A6. Who the blazes do I attribute that to? Biological Psychiatry Editorial Board"? The Supplement To The Treasure-House of Pearls (. The Supplement To The Treasure-House of Pearls. CMS Assistance with Serialized Essays. I need to cite in a bibliography, using CMS 15th ed, two articles that have been serialized. The first was published in one journal/newsletter over three issues and another in a journal in two parts. Can someone please point me to an example in the CMS on how to cite this because I have been unable to find this case in the CMS? I would be most grateful for any help here.
